Objectives of the Activity
• On February 14th, 2024, students of ADYPU came together and celebrated Basant
Panchami.
• Basant Panchami is celebrated as the birthday of the Goddess Saraswati(the goddess of
knowledge, wisdom, learning, and art). Vasant Panchami means to honor Goddess
Saraswati, the deity of knowledge, wisdom, arts, and learning.
• The festival holds cultural, religious, and social significance as it symbolizes the
rejuvenation of nature and the beginning of new beginnings.
• Devotees adorn themselves and their surroundings in vibrant yellow colors,
representing prosperity
