Full-time Faculty Positions

Job Description
ADYPU, School of Engineering is looking for faculty members for its Transportation Design program.
We invite outstanding designers engaged in teaching or in practice to join an illustrious group of faculty members. We are particularly interested in experienced design practitioners to provide leadership to our undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Transportation design program, engaging in a rigorous program of research, and active service to the institution in various administrative duties as necessary.
Abilities
Working knowledge or familiarity with OEM Design processes and tools is widely preferred. Also, able to teach and offer new courses that are relevant to the development of future designers in the car design industry. Proficiency in computer modeling tools such as Alias, Vred is desirable.
Candidates should demonstrate potential for scholarly activity through research and interdisciplinary collaboration. Candidates should have a body of creative work that may include exhibition, production, construction, and /or publications.
A thorough understanding of research and design methods; creativity and flair; strong project management skills; excellent communication skills; and a passion for inspiring and teaching are needed attributes.

Qualifications & Experience
Candidates should possess a minimum bachelor’s level qualification in Product or Industrial Design / Automobile Design or equivalent. Experience should be commensurate with the position applied. The experience could be professional design experience and/or university-level teaching experience.
