Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC)- Android Compose Camp
We're very excited to share the news that Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) - Ajeenkya DY Patil University successfully conducted the Android Compose Camp from 20th September 2022 - 23rd September 2022. The event saw enormous response from the students and was conducted by the Android Lead (2022-23) Kaustubh Wagh, GDSC ADYPU. Throughout the event duration, students learnt to develop android apps from scratch in upcoming technologies such as Android Studio, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
The event flow was -
Day 1 : Setting up Android Studio Jetpack Compose along with the orientation session
Day 2 : Introduction to Kotlin and making the Dice Roller App
Day 3 : Adding advanced features like App Scroll View and basic Git training
Day 4 : Submission of projects, doubt solving sessions and Career path guidance session followed by Expert talks.
All of the students received hands-on training throughout the session. In between sessions, Kahoot quizzes and subsequent incentives ensured high student engagement and active participation.
