Objectives of the Activity
• To design machines that can help and assist humans.
• To integrate fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, bioengineering, computer engineering, control engineering, software engineering, etc.
• To learn the Mobile kind of Robots for the applications of the above-mentioned fields.
Execution of Activity:
The Expert Session was organized by School of Engineering on 2nd February 2023
Robotics has been an inherently interdisciplinary field, bringing together diverse domains such as engineering, cognitive science, and computer science and, more recently, knowledge from social sciences and humanities, many more.
Outcomes
• Basic understanding of the key components of robotics.
• The students from interdisciplinary fields got a clear idea of the sensors, actuators, and building blocks of robots.
